    Music Catch 2

Finally, it is out! Various music tracks to play to, several other options (all easily unlocked).

Look out for the flashing one! Turns a bunch of 'notes' into yellow, allowing you to rack up massive points.

That's not even the best of it, you can use a MP3 URL to play whatever song you like! (Must be unlocked, but it is easy to do so).

On the 3 minute and change version of the Sandstorm track (a track someone on another forum used), I got a 137 multiplier, and 4.2 million points.

My highest score is Gentle - 4.579 Million. I think I got over 110x (probably more like 130+) multiplier on that one.

300 combo on the Waldstein sonata. should've had 500, but got a stupid breaker. 47 million or something.

That's what you get on a long piece.

    quite a fun game, though.

Highest score is 7.5 million or so on an original song. Can't remember the name. But this is old news. This game came out like 4 days ago. :P

Very good game, I unlocked everything and then played Toy Food by Neil Cicierega. It was too hard

The random spawning mode wasn't nearly as broken as I thought it would be; there seems to be spawn boundaries that prevent reds from appearing right under you. Still, you sometimes get screwed over by a red you couldn't see until it was too late.

The radar mode disoriented me a bit.
Is there a flashing shape in every level?

I THINK the flashing thing appears in every level, but I could be wrong. I admit, I've only grabbed it for a couple of the main levels.

BTW: The game is cool in that it seems to read the music track, and spawn 'notes' accordingly. I THINK yellow notes appear more commonly when certain notes are played (on the track). I bet a fast paced track with heavy bass will spawn a ton of large notes.

Yeah, the spawning of shapes seems to be based on the audio spectrum of the song (pitch + amplitude), so reasonably the game could select certain "bands" of the spectrum to spawn different shapes (yellows, reds, purples.)

I forgot to mention: I love the recovery feature. In the first game reds really pounded you; now you get a fighting chance. You can nullify most of the damage if you're fast enough.

I played this game on Newgrounds. Found it very different, and enjoyed it.
Loved the graphics, but I felt the tunes needed more variety, at least the 3 I unlocked.
I didn't manage to unlock the last one, before I turned it off, as I didn't manage to unlock a song on the last go, but I may give it another go in a bit.

I loved the music so much I went out and bought Isaac Shephard's CD. =D
