    My Soundclick

    Hey all

Seeing as some of you may have seen me playing FFR, but have no idea (probably) of what I do (sometimes) in my spare time, this is the link to my soundclick page, with a couple of my songs. I have more in the works.

I use Renoise, which is a free tracker, and on these, free VST instruments.

Have a listen to them anyway, and if you like them, that's great, and I'd love comments

Discover Musical Kage, an independent ambient artist on SoundClick. A growing catalog of 2 tracks and 1.2K streams on SoundClick.

I do have more not on here, but they are no where near being even to the standard of Noise yet, but theres a good sounding one, that sounds like a old style game soundtrack on the way.

I have been making music for quite a while, but hardly ever finish pieces. At least, since I switched to using the computer to sample, etc.

I'm hoping to finish an album though, I'm going to call Synpianical though, sometime in the future, and any comments will help me move forward, as any form of crtisism moves me along

Without support though, I feel bad, and don't produce anything at all

    Re: My Soundclick

As far as mood synth, I'm not really sure what to speak on it, as I didn't feel it really went anywhere... Of anything though, I'd have to say that the mastering is the best... Most people have problems with everything being too loud, or not understanding the concept of EQing correctly, but at least your drums, synths, piano, effects, etc were in the right frequency range that they should have been...

As far as Noise, I understand it's the intro, but damn long intro haha

Again, didn't pick up and go anywhere, but as far as mastering, everything sounded perfect, and on-key... So good job with that, I look forward to seeing the finished product if it's only the intro... But yeah... Not sure what genre you're going for, otherwise I'd have more help to give...

    Lookin' forward to the future.

Thanks so much for your listen, and actually replying

I agree... for some reason, I can't focus a song. I start making it, but then can't seem to figure out how to develop it.

Mood Synth I believe is the only one I've actually been able to sort of develop to a finish, even if its lacking in something.

Is it just the structure that is lost in it all?

I have no idea what I am doing with Noise either, but I'll see how it goes. I get ideas in my head, but then putting them down in the program gets difficult sometimes.

Thanks for liking my mastering. Thats one aspect I know is important

I'm enjoying Noise quite a bit. The samples used at the beginning are excellent. I'm also enjoying the reverb. Have you ever heard of idmforums.com? You'd be VERY welcome over there. That's the greatest forum I've ever been on, because they're so helpful.

And BTW, Renoise isn't free. At least the Renoise I'm thinking of isn't.

Thanks, glad you like it I just need to figure out where its going... I'm such a perfectionist

Not heard of that forum, no, but I'll definietly check them out

Renoise isn't exactly free, but the demo is basically unlimited, except for ASIO and exporting of sound, so in a way, I call it free, when the entire program itself isn't (pretty cheap though to be honest)
