    Guilty Gear Series, any fans?

    Any fans of GG out there?

    Accent Core Plus comes out in the US in April. My copy is already reserved.

    I'm playing X2 right now since my Accent Core was borrowed and never returned.

    The game play is awesome if you've never tried it. It's a fighter like Street Fighter (older ones), but much more technical and combo-heavy. Just look up some videos of it on Youtube and you'll see what I mean.

    So, what's your favorite character and game out of the series?

    Mine is Chipp Zanuff. Not my best character and his defense sucks, but he's fun to play.

    Eddie is my main (and only character I use). I think the game is really awesome. The graphics are good, the music rocks (literally), the character design is fantastic and I love the fighting style.

    I'll probably be picking Accent Core Plus up when it comes out.

      My friend is ridiculous at that game. He can play as pretty much anyone and wins tournaments.

      I suck unfortunately. We play the ps2 version- Guilty Gear X2 Accent Core+ (the newer japanese one).

      I like playing as Ky, Order Sol, and Venom.

          One of my friends can randomly use A.B.A really well.

            Well, I think you guys can guess my fave character. <_<

            Guilty Gear was the only fighter that I ever took the time to get remotely good at, honestly. I learned X2 on an arcade machine (and got to the final fight vs. I-no with my first time using Dizzy), but what really draws me in is the backstory behind everything. A world where magic is tapped as an energy source sounds like something straight out of a soft sci-fi, but for the GG world, it's real.

            Currently, though, the only fighter we have at our house is Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution for the Wii. Naturally, I'm staying FAR AWAY from that thing. As for playing GG on the PS2, though, I never could cram into my head how to use these newfangled console controllers with 10 or more buttons.

            Still, there was that one time where a little kid kept talking smack during games and disrupting the players, so one day the president of my school's gaming guild just walks into our D&D session, tells me that somebody brought Guilty Gear, and eventually I finally manage to shut him up in an epic duel of masher vs. masher. Setting aside the fact that I beat on a little kid, that was fun.

              Its really simple actually. Even though they have many buttons, only five (other than the d-pad for movement) are actually used.

              X= kick
              []= punch
              Triangle = Slash
              O = Hardslash
              R1 = Dust

              That's it. (unless you count the taunt)

              I won't say I'm great at it, but I've beat anyone I've played against. The thing is, I live in a small town and there's not that many good gamers and I've never played in a tournament.

              When I get bored, I go to training and pick Chipp vs. Chipp. Turn the computer's level to max and enjoy one fast paced fight
