There was a thread somewhere but now I can't find it.

New keyboard. Won't let me press more than 2 keys at once.. makes a beep noise and has a seizure.
"HAHAHAH NO MORE THAN 2 KEYS FOR YOU YOU STUPIDMASHING****TARD"

Can I stop this, or do I have to change my playing style from completely rubbish to amazing AAA everytime?

P.S. It's not just more than two keys, it beeps when I press too many keys in quick succession...

Can you press two keys on the letters part of the keyboard and the arrow keys at the same time? Same question for the number pad.

I can press as many keys as I like on the letter part, but none of them register, and there's no beep. The numpad beeps at me. }:

Ugh, am I going to have to change to spread? /cry.

I had the same problem, then I tried spread and I do a lot better, and I can hit four at a time.
also I use 1290 on the top row

Get a new keyboard, HP keyboards are very nice. =)

I had a similar problem on my keyboard. I switched to spread, and it made life a lot easier. You should do it.
Funny stuff goes in this area right?

The problem is that some keyboards do not support full "N-key rollover".
This explains the phenomena that a lot of people experience. It has to do with how the manufacturers wire the contacts under the letters: some manufacturers skimp on costs and try to cram multiple keys onto one contact.
This means that they won't register simultaneously. The best way to fix this, if you have this kind of key-board, is to find a set of four keys that are mapped to different contacts.
I suggest picking four keys that are pairwise distant (i.e. as and ;').
You can check whether a given set satisfies these requirements by mashing them here:

When you go out to buy a new keyboard, check to see how many keys it's advertised for.

FFR only really needs quad rollover.

Which is known as the keyboard matrix, if anyone wants to look it up further.

You can either turn spread, or get a new keyboard, but few keyboards support quad-arrow presses anyway.

If you're going to buy a new keyboard and money isn't an issue, I recommend the Saitek Eclipse II. Don't listen to people if they say it's unresponsive, it's not. I can hit all the jacks in club, do 4 Chord Touhou jumpstream, mash whatever combo I want in Death Piano, etc. It's $80 though.
