    Early birthday presents. I has them.

    Those who are into synthesizers will understand the extent of my euphoria. I got my b-day presents today, twelve days early. I walked out of Guitar Center with a Roland SH-201, a Korg microKORG synth/vocoder, and a bunch of patch and midi cables:

    Ohh, happy day. And just in time for the end of this week's assignment in my production class.

    I got the synths for about $1000 total. What would you do with $1000 right now? No boring responses, like "give it to the poor" (this isn't a beauty pageant) or "pay my bills" (granted of course you would if you had the extra cash). With another thousand dollars, I'd probably save up $200 more and get either a Moog Little Phatty Stage II or an Ibanez RG-770.

              You shouldn't talk down to people you don't know anything about, acting like you know more and then try to show them up in the forum. That's how you get absolutely no where.

                  Just one? For that amount of money you could buy 30 of them and have them farm gold for the rest of their living days. Or maybe 300 of them.

                      Well, I like to build myself up.

                      I could have my own little WoW sweatshop running, making tons of money.

                      Sweet stuff though, and nice layout.

                      You shouldn't talk down to people you don't know anything about, acting like you know more and then try to show them up in the forum. That's how you get absolutely no where.

                          I'd probably get an open holed flute because I like the woody sound better than the closed holed. Or it'd have to be a bass guitar cause I've always wanted to learn the bass. Then I'd get some scrubs, cause I could always use scrubs working at the hospital.

                                      I didn't want to explain this, but to be honest, since I've been widely disliked here (admittedly deservedly so from time to time), I didn't want to post anything. I realize this is an insecurity I have to deal with if I want to distribute my music widely, but there you have it. I was considering posting music under an anonymous account, but never ended up doing it. I'd be glad to share it with those who are interested though. I have a lot of half-completed works, so it'd take me a little while before they'd be in proper shape.

                                                  Oh, I know it's just something every musician has to go through. I'll post links soon. I'm doing a lot of instrumental stuff just for practice, and soon enough I'm going to finally lay down the multi-tracks for my vocal album. The lyrics are already written and most of the songs have at least a couple loops or melodies, but I'm not going to get into that album until I've worked with mixing and production a bit more and developed my skills.

                                                  I'm also working on bringing my technical proficiency in piano playing up again... those Hanon and Czerny exercises which used to be so easy are killing my hands again. Augh.
