So yeah,
The demo came out today: IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT DOWNLOAD IT NOW
Now that that's out of the way, I can say, from first-hand experience, that this game is going to be one of my favorites for a long time.
Firstly: I love RTS's. Always have, always will, grew up on Starcraft and never looked back.
Secondly: I love Halo. Fun, cool story, and very interesting, futuristic scenery, units, and enemies.
Thirdly: It's a mix of both, how much better can it be?
You might be thinking that, "An RTS can't function properly on a console."
Well, it can, and Ensemble (now out of business
) did it very well.
The controls function smoothly, the cursor, the menus, and the camera all handle great.
The "circle" menu that you see when you select a building is very cool, you hold the left stick in the direction of the unit/upgrade you want to select.
Anyways, I'm rambling, if you have the demo, tell me what you think.
If you don't have it, go get it, yeah.
Opinions?
