    Donnie Darko Sequel Coming. =(

    "Touted as the sequel to the 2001 cult hit, the story picks up seven years after Donnie Darko left off. The youngest Darko, Samantha, is now 18 and abandoning her commitment to Sparkle Motion. She heads to Las Vegas with her best friend Corey, but the two are plagued with bizarre visions. I imagine they will involve a rabbit."

    I really love Donnie Darko. This however, is such a bad idea. It makes me so sad thinking that they are going to make a sequel.

                      there are so many metaphors in donnie darko. its such a great movie.

                              Donnie darko is one of my favorite movies. Its one of those where you watch it the first time and think wtf. So I had to watch it again.

                              Also a young seth rogen has a small role in the movie which was kind of amusing

                                      See, this is what bugs me about people and movies.

                                      If you don't like that they're making a sequel or a remake, DON'T ****ING WATCH IT. It's that easy. Don't ****ing bitch, just ignore it.

                                      Like, take a look at The Butterfly Effect. Great movie. But when I watch it, do I think "oh **** they made a sequel to this and it's just a crappy rehash of the same concept without any of the characters and is overall a terrible movie in comparison."

                                      No, I think "wow, this is a great movie" and leave it at that. **** you guys. You don't want them making this sequel, don't see it. Don't ****ing bitch about **** you have no control over.

                                      ps for people interested in checking out Donnie Darko, they're getting it out on Blu-ray finally soon, so if you're into HD, you can go ahead and wait like a month or two and get it on BD.

                                              DD is such a great movie. And like was said, after you watch it the first time, you watch it again to make sure you got it right. Watching it in reverse might also help.

                                              I don't think I'll even acknowledge this movie nonetheless see it. I don't want a crappy sequel to ruin a perfectly good movie for me.
