    Vale's new music thread!

Yes, that's right. As my first act on FFR during 2009 I'm dumping my old, terribly named music thread, in favor of a new one! Yay!

A lot of people had an aversion to my old thread, so now I'm hoping to get more exposure in here.

    So without further ado:

    LISTEN TO MY MUSIC HERE:
    http://www.soundclick.com/ValeChicago/

All my music will be uploaded to My Soundclick. I mostly do electronic music like DnB and IDM, but I've made a classical song arrangement, and am looking to get into other genres. I'm still a relative amateur, but I think I'm doing well considering. I have almost no experience with production outside of dumping mixer effects on channels, so it's not very refined. Raw sound here.

I use FL Studio 8 for everything.

    Anything else?

Yes! I have given FFR full permission to use my music, so if you like what you hear and think it would be good on FFR, feel free to step. There is one little restriction though: if you want to step the songs "awrawr" or "Mr.Nothing's OP", please send the file to me before you submit.

Listeners, please leave comments on my music here. Tell me how you liked it, what you think I could've done better, etc. Constructive comments, please; I want to know why you like or don't like what you like or don't like. Also, if any fellow musicians are following my music, feel free to share any advice you may have for me! Every little bit will help me grow as a musician.

    Ciao for now,

    BDN

While I'm not a big fan of IDM or DnB, you do have some nice melodies; Mr.Nothing's OP actually sounds like a pop song to me, and the Teaser reminds me of classic video game music! ^_^

In a few songs, it seems that the high frequencies are a little too high, or it could just be me... =\
