NOTE: I cannot host this game, as I will likely be losing the computer tomorrow afternoon for a while. Therefore, anybody that wants to host this game for me can IM me. I'm on at the moment.
TWG LXXIII: Elemental Struggle
15 Players:
3 Blues:
1 Pyro Guardian: Can select one player other than himself to guard each night. If wolfed, a random wolf will be burned and cardflipped in the thread.
1 Psychic
1 Earth Golem: Takes two attempts to kill. The player who makes the first attempt will die. (If lynched, a random player that voted for them will die. If wolfed, a random wolf will die.)
9 Humans
3 Wolves:
1 Thunder Wolf Seer: Normal wolf seer, lol.
1 Shadow Wolf: Can go undercover and not be detected by the psychic, but the wolves cannot kill on the phase this power is activated. The same rule applies if this ability is deactivated.
1 Frost Wolverine: Can select a player and nullify their power for an entire phase (night + day) once per game. Can also vigi a selected player once per game during any night phase.
Feel free to make any balance changes if necessary. This was off of the top of my head anyway.

earth golem is too powerful IMO. they take out a wolf if they get wolfed? there's only 3 wolves to begin with, this makes it really a really easy human victory
EDIT: also the shadow wolf thing seems kinda dumb. only the wolves can kill during the night in this game, so if there is no kill at night then the psychic knows not to trust his information

im all for this. i hate games with tons of over elaborate character schemes and rules.
You could easily say that this belongs in jTWG, but making the games more complicating isn't going to make them more enjoyable.Comment

lol not even. there is a wolf seer which means they just have to be lucky in not killing the golem at night. wolf seer without a human seer = wolf victory.earth golem is too powerful IMO. they take out a wolf if they get wolfed? there's only 3 wolves to begin with, this makes it really a really easy human victory

I think the Earth Golem can be worked around. This is TWG, after all; the wolves should be smart enough to turn the humans on their own blue, seeing as the humans have no seer to validate their role.
Also, the second power of the frost wolverine allows the wolves to get a night kill while the shadow wolf goes undercover, so the psychic won't know the numbers have been botched with.
Also, if the psychic can't trust his info, then he is worthless to the humans, is he not? So by going undercover at the right time, the wolves can essentially nullify a human role.
However, for this reason I created a jacked version of the Guardian for the humans. If he's wolfed, a wolf goes down next day phase.
Same with the Earth Golem. Made it jacked on purpose. The humans will know who the Earth Golem is once one attempt to kill him fails, so they won't bother lynching him.
All in all, it's a question of how smart the wolves play during the game.
Edit: Fine be that way I'll limit the wolf seer's power. He needs to be elemental anyway.Note to self Finish.Comment

The Earth Golem would still take two hits to kill, but he wouldn't be able to give the return kill upon being attacked the first time. He would die when attacked again.
Edit: I'd like to emphasize two things:
1) If lynched, the Earth Golem kills a PLAYER at random. This means green, blue, or red. If wolfed, he kills a random red.
2) I have gotten Makilaz to host this game for me if it wins enough votes from you guys. My grades are in deep **** and I'm about to lose comp; I just wanted to post a game for you guys to consider.Last edited by GamerShadow; 12-21-2008, 11:55 AM.Note to self Finish.Comment
