How do u get songs (not ones that you downloaded that already have stepfiles) onto stepmania to create your own stepfiles? ( or could some1 post a link to download dwi?)

1) Go to the stepmania program directory
2) Go to songs then into one of the song folders
3) Create a new folder, title it the name of your song
4) Save a blank notepad file with the extension .dwi into the new folder
5) Put the song into the folder
6) Put a background and banner in the folder (not required but highly recommended)
7) Open up stepmania, select edit/sync songs, find your songs and create a stepfile
8 ) Refer to Arch0wl's DWI making FAQ (somewhere on the forums) to make a good stepfile for the song.
Thats about it..One day there will be a really cool sig here. But not right now.

Hey I tried that and if i open up my songs folder it's in there with the dwi file and music and wen i open stepmania its not there.Comment
