    pretty green onions

bahhhh ok will someone please make a new pretty green onions file? the ones that are up don't work for me for some reason and its like my favorite song. i was going to try to make one myself but i'm a waste of life when it comes to finding bpm... lol while i'm asking questions, is there a simpler way to do that other than trial and error?
    yeppp, thats all.

Green Onions is a good song. Pretty Green Onions is not a good song. i think kommisar made a file for it though

also to find bpm, do one of these:
    - count beats per 10 seconds, multiply by 6
    - download mixmeister bpm analyzer and adjust from there

there's other techniques but im too lazy

I count out 16/32 beats with a stopwatch (different numbers if it's not in 4/4 of course) then divide that number by 16/32 to get the duration of one beat. divide 60 by it to get bpm then round it to the nearest whole number and sync it again if you see it drift off later

but of course mixmeister exists so you only really need to do this if the song changes bpm at some point but is constant otherwise

Usually, I set a random high bpm, then I select around 30 measures. I 64th snap then ctrl+r 33 steps. Find the exact time of the last step, and you have 8 measures (of course, this only works if the offset is correct.)
