    FFR for Xbox 360

    Copied from this page.

    "Community games

Although it's lower-profile than the Netflix feature, the addition of a Community Games channel is sparking interest among gamers looking for something beyond the high-budget, high-polish experience provided by most commercial titles. Simply put, the Community Games feature offers bedroom Xbox developers the chance to get their works out to a paying public without much expense or hassle. Think of it as a cross between the Xbox Live Arcade and Apple's App Store. There's already a selection of titles to try, but it will take some time before this feature really demonstrates its value.

    Installing games

The NXE lets you copy games from DVDs onto a 360's hard drive and play them from there (the Sony PS3 already does this). This increases game load times, but not dramatically. What emphatically is noticeable is that the 360 doesn't have to spin the DVD while you're playing, making it a much, much quieter experience than normal. Oh, and before you get any ideas about renting games, installing them, then taking them back to the store, you still need the DVD in the drive to play. Sorry."

So what do you say? I know nothing can really be done until the big boys are back, but you think maybe Synth would be up to it? If he had the money, of course.

    If not FFR, SiU?

    They'd both be cool idea.

(Sorry for new thread. I searched for the old one and was unable to find it.)

I would love FFR on 360, but we'd need the special keyboard or whatever to play it. It wouldn't work with the current setup. It'd probably make some money as well.

You can plug your keyboard into your 360, I'm sure. Microsoft is usually pretty good with recognizing hardware and matching it with the correct software. If you can play videos from your iPod using a 360, I don't see why a USB keyboard wouldn't work.

Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe they make you buy a keyboard just the be greedy douchebags.

Xbox 360s can, too. They can also support mice and other USB-cord connectors (such as from a Digital Camera to the 360).

I haven't been able to do this, but for 360 I'm sure you'd have to buy some Xbox Keyboard or something, but If they had FFR in like the XBLA I'd buy it.

You have to download some patch from Xbox Live or something. Same for some song extension types.

We have permission to use songs in the game only, and for non-profit. Redistributing them in an Xbox 360 title without further permissions/royalties would result in lawsuits.

That's kinda obvious. That's why we go back and get permission to use their songs in the game. We may even decide to pay royalties, but the less popular artists I'm sure would be ecstatic to have their songs featured on Xbox Live. Just think of the amount of hits and money they'd be getting out of it.

This won't be a huge problem. It'll just be a timely process.

                  Also, lol @ your sig.
