I just got this new program called Sony ACID Music Studio. Seems like a pretty cool program, I can make MIDI files on it, arrange sound files in an order, etc. etc. It's also a reaaaaaally confusing program to learn. I have Reason for Windows 98 on my, well, Windows 98 computer, so I can make sound files there and transfer them to this. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you use this program or HAVE used this program, and if you have any tips/suggestions? I really want to start getting into making music, I always have these creative bursts every now and then and feel like making something, but I always have to stick with writing. (gag)
I need some help with Sony ACID.

I'd suggest going to KVRaudio.com and picking up some free VSTi's. These are plugins that are virtual synths that you can control via ACID's midi features. The instruments that ACID comes with are pretty awful.
Other than that, I'd read the manual. ACID is actually one of the easier to learn music programs I think, and I've used a bunch.Comment
