Make your bass a little bit fatter.
        Good white noise control.
I personally think that since chiptunes uses such simple synthesis and basic shapes that the beauty of the music comes from how originally one can morph and shape such shapes and synthesis to produce the most interesting sounds that still reflect the atmosphere of the VG environment. I think your piece may be a little lacking in this area.

i know exactly what you mean. i do find it lacks a little flavor and that the chiptune sounds could be exploited a little more, even though it's a slow song. I'm still a noob composer at heart =D

ps i love gabba i made a file for showtime under leaden skies pm me if you want it hehe
