    Can someone recommend good VSTi's?

I hope that this thread is at the right place and get's an "OK" thingy, I don't know where else to put this...

Anyway I do have an question too. First of all you all may know my NewGrounds Audio page right? My question is all about the music I cover and make. You see, I'm sick and tired of using these SF2 -based samples on my cover songs, and I'd like to make the songs i cover and the songs I make more... well you know... realistic. For example I recently found out the song i'm covering at the moment, BUT I miss a lot of good VSTi's. For example the song i'm covering at needs to have more like realistic Drum Kit/Rock Drum Kit than the SF2 samples can offer and in fact no matter how good the songs are, the MIDI'ish drums ruins it totally. So my question is:

Is there any good and realistic enough, for example, drum kits available that would make my songs sound more realistic than before? Are there any VST samples that would be free at cost? Or are there anything that would be cheap? I'm unemployed and I really cannot afford to pay from an VST(i) samples right now, since i'm quite poor?

I need your help on this! Can you recommend anything that's good enough, free of cost? I need an answer ASAP.

There are plenty of wav-based VSTis that sample real instruments. Normally they are pretty damn expensive, I'm talking 2-400 USD, so honestly soundfonts are going to be your best bet... I could be wrong though.
put on a donk on it
