    The best songs to practice

    You've heard it before.

    "What song should I practice to play jumpstreams better?"
    "Are there any songs which are good for practicing trills?"

    So why bother hearing it again?

    A list to give our thoughts in for the best songs to practice for different patterns and techniques -- at different levels!
    Given in this list are a choice of two difficulties. Decide whether your song placements fit into the Intermediate or the Advanced category.

    You may discuss whether a song is appropriately placed, or should be replaced.
    Note: Not all patterns and/or techniques have been included

      Klung Kung 2004 also has a bunch of trills, runningmen, and chains.

          Hajnal for rolls.
          OMW v1 for streams and trills.
          Seven for jumpstream.
          World of Dreams for jumps.
          Intro of Classical Insanity for running men.
          Also BB Revenge has alot of trills and stream.

              Thanks for your input. It would be good if people could tell me the difficulty of the category in which they would like to place their song, as well as what ranking.

                  max forever is good for endurance and trills, both intermediate i guess.

                  You might want to look into the one handed thread with the one handed tier point ranking system, there's good song suggestions for certain patterns.

                      Hey, how is Starlight both in Intermediate and Advanced for jacks? And I'm not sure about the runningmen difficulty of Classical Insanity versus Klung Kung 2004.

                          Hmm...A suggestion I have would be to have one section for each pattern and use a color coding on songs to determine difficulty. Also, it may look neater to use single spacing between each song. It would at least help compress things a bit.

                          I believe Epic had some runningmen at the end of it. I suppose that would fall under intermediate in difficulty.

                              Trills: Jelly Roll Blues (intermediate), Going on Spring Wind (advanced/high intermediate), Almost There (...)
                              Streams: Strangeprogram (advanced), Nova Pulser
                              Jumps: Big Blue? (advanced), Turkish March (advanced/high intermediate)
                              Jacks: Piano Etude Gymnastics has a jack part, GGC (advanced)
                              Endurance: Max Forever (intermediate), BB Evolution (advanced)

                              I dunno what Chains are, so w/e.

                                  From what I remember from playing, I think {Frozen} has a little variety of each. Trills, runningmen, etc. Correct me if im wrong though.

                                                      Seeing as you have no intermediate jacks, a good one to list would be Guitar vs. Piano
