CIA, FBI push 'Facebook for spies'

When you see people at the office using such Internet sites as Facebook and MySpace, you might suspect those workers are slacking off.

brb joining CIA so i can use A-Space and be friends with other spies

on a serious note, this is actually a good idea so they can rely information without it being leaked to the public

    lol facebook/myspace for the government.

If the A-Space contains/will have highly classified information, and only CIA members have access to it (the public has no admittance), why let the world know of it?

rofl good point. i didn't even think about that. I guess maybe so the public will know our nations secrets will be able to be shared among all the spies without them being leaked to terrorists or something? lol

          Isn't that the rule?

If it's on the internet and seems like no one will be able to ever 'hack' it, someone will?

There will be many attempting out of curiosity. Who knows, one of them may succeed.

I doubt that. Either way I am no longer going to use face book for anything but my name. The government already has pictures of you, and every useful piece of information, so this seems almost pointless.

Re: CIA, FBI push 'Facebook for spies'

Yeah, it's supposed to be used for the share of information about terrorist, etc. But we all know what's really going to happen....

"CIA Bob is sick of life..."

"CIA Bob is in a relationship with FBI Anna"

In all seriousness though, the internet was created for the idea of sharing information and communicating with other people long distances away. What is it actually used for? Porn, video games, and whoring yourself on social networking sites. So this could be created for the share of information, but God only knows what it could turn into...

I never understand why they post what it is and what they are doing in public articles.

Terrorists have access to the internet, don't you think they'd try to hack into it or something?

It could be a trap for hackers that want to try hacking the CIA then they track down the hacker and get him for trying to steal national information only for CIA. Terrorists beware! Maybe not I could be wrong...

If they were going to do something like this, it seems unlikely that they would have announced it. Probably some stupid scare tactics to get kids to stop whoring themselves over the net. Wont change anything though.

Ehh... I don't think Facebook is actually working with the spies, rather, the spies are creating their own social networking site.
