    This site is a bigger kick in the nuts

    First it was trolling/ban central, back when garbage bin had a personality. Then it was the Brag Board era, with the infamous ODI thread. Afterwards, Garbage Bin because a black hole of teenage chobs running around cock in hand blowing a load over the most retarded ****. Then it was all saved by FFya in an odd sort of way.

    Now browsing this site is like browsing a bad angelfire with the mouseover adds, the ****ing whorish zwinkies popping up saying "click on me you ****ing teenage pussies" and banner ads all over the ****ing place. It was bad enough when profiles were put in and this became the otaku taintstain of the internet. This **** seriously has to stop.

          Wholeheartedly agreeing. Get the stupid mouseovers out of here, and the Zwinky ads are annoyingly s***ty as well.

          Edit: BigBoss, you do realize that at this rate, FFR will be gone in maybe 2 years due to lack of money, or the community leaves due to uncontrollable advertisements. I think we should care.

                  Subscribing is simply paying for the ads you don't see, so freaking subscribe instead of whining.

                      I doubt FFR is doing that poorly on money considering how many subscribers there are and the kind of income that that alone brings in.

                      and Snowc, the rollover ads can be defeated with noscript on Firefox. Not sure what the **** zwinkie is, but I doubt they're all that difficult to defeat if they're that intrusive.

                                                  I kind of have to agree with snow. I know ffr needs the funds to keep it running, and after the epic failure of the support tokens with around only 13 or 14 buying it, FFR does need to do something to make money.

                                                  I just don't think putting pop up/mouse over ads is the way to approach it. Adding more things to the FFR shop that people would purchase would be awesome. Even better would be multiple payment methods so anyone could buy something. Not just paypal users.
