I put together a medley of demos of most of the songs I have been working on in their various stages of completion as some kind of teaser, so some will sound way better than others. I've just had trouble finding more than 3-4 hours a week to work on tunes and wanted to let everyone know it's work and illness and not me giving up on music again.
I'm going to take this down once I finish some of the songs.
--Route 246 (0 - 1:30) Best city course in GT4, racing through the streets of Tokyo.
--Your Fortune Awaits (1:32 - 2:41) Needs a lot of work because it's muddy as hell. The inspiration for the chord synth is trying to emulate the sensation of being bathed in the warmth of the sun, floating in the ocean at sunset, letting the waves and energy wash over. Then insert epicly reverbed gong. lol, trance.
--Buried (2:43 - 3:25) I guess you could call this a return to the classic sound.. The lead is probably the sweetest FM synth I've ever made.
--Go for the Throat (3:30 - 4:44) Dance hall beats are infectious. I guess the rest of the song is ok, too.
--Lion (4:50 - 6:12) Originally a more percussive look at meshing DnB / IDM with ... stuff. It's getting there.
--...That's more zombies than usual... (6:13 - 7:19) They come from the Secret Zombie Room. I guess it'd be like trance hip-hop because of the sub bass.
So enjoy, cringe, or whatever it is you do when you listen to my music.
If anyone wants to take a shot at these and remix these sketches into something finished, that'd be hot, because with all the hurricanes coming through the Gulf and SoCal fire season peaking I'll probably be getting really busy.
