    Buying DDR- What platform, game, etc.

    Hey I want to buy DDR, but I have a few questions. What pad and version of DDR should I get, and can you buy it for the computer or is it only on PlayStation?

      get it for ps2 if you want it for a console, i made the mistake of getting ultramix just cause of the xbox live.

          Playstation2is by far the best platform (get Max) and Foam pads are nice and affordable.

              If you want quality, PS2's max 1 is the way to go. Max 2 is also nice to have, but if you want the best playing experience you can but metal pads, a good place to buy these is ebay.

              and if you REALLY want the best experience to play DDR and you have the money, buy an arcade machiene off www.channelbeat.com

                  I say PS2 with MAX or MAX2 and Octane Pads! And of coarse teh memory card LOL

                      Yeah when I move (in about a month) I am getting the whole system (including the ps2...my grandmother in which I live with right now is one of those "video games are the devil!" kind of people) *shudder* ....yeah I'm keeping my eyes out for a nice metal pad... Debating weither to use ebay for that or not. Also I'm going to have to get the game from there too since...well...I guess it is now illegal to sell DDR games here in canada due to the licensing on some of the songs... I dont know why we can't sell it anyways... they used to sell it here but then it was like KABLAMO and they were no more. sadness
