Not sure the reason why, but I feel like showing the community what Manhattan Sapphire is remixing. It's really remixing two songs but this is the only one I could find (not sure the other's name). The song is called Joote De Do and it is from the Indian move, "Huma Aapke Hain Koun". If you enjoy Manhattan Sapphire you should enjoy Joote De Do, and you'll have gained knowledge about a song! O: What more could you want? *cough*

Note: If this is in the wrong forum section, I apologize and let me know. Let me know if I should have put this in the FFR Videos too. x.x
Edit: Here are the lyrics and translation of the song (keeping the link up in case someone wants it for whatever reason):

Edit 2: Here's an explanation a friend has given me: "Basically at an Indian wedding, the Groom's shoes are hidden throughout 3/4's of the day. The best men try to keep them hidden. However the bridesmaids on the girls side, attempt to look for the shoes and hide them themselves, because if they succeed in this task they can sell the shoes back at a reasonable price."
Just in case anyone wanted to know that too. xD

Lyrics
Code:
duulhe ki saaliyon o hare dupattevaaliyon
O sisters-in-law, o green scarved maidens,
juute de do paise le lo...
Hand over the shoes, take the money...
dulhan ke devar tum dikhalaao na yuun tevar
Younger brother of the groom, don't take that attitude with us!
paise de do juute le lo...
Hand over the money, take the shoes...
juute do paise lo
Give us the shoes, take the money
aji not gino ji
Hey, count out the money
juute laao
Bring the shoes
zid chhodo ji
Leave off this stubbornness, sir
juute laao
Bring the shoes
phraad ("fraud") hai kya ham
Do you think we're cheaters?
tum hi jaano
You know it!
akadu tum
You are arrogant.
jo bhi maano...
Whatever you say...
aji baat barhegi
Hey, now the quarrel will heat up
barh jaane do
Let it heat up!
maang charhegi
The price will increase!
charh jaane do
Let it increase!
ado na aise
Don't be so obstinate!
pahale juute
First the shoes!
pahele paise
First the money!
pahale juute...
First the shoes...
juute liye hain nahin churaaya koi zevar
We took shoes, we didn't steal some precious treasure
dulhan ke devar tum dikhalaao na yuun tevar
Younger brother of the groom, don't take that attitude with us!
paise de do juute le lo...
Hand over the money, take the shoes...
juute do paise lo
Give us the shoes and take the money
kuchh thanda pi lo
Drink something cold
muud nahin hai
I'm not in the mood
dahi bade lo
Have some savoury (small lumps of fried pulse, with curds and spices)
muuD nahin hai
I'm not in the mood
kulfi khaa lo
Eat some ice cream
bahut khaa chuke
I've already eaten a lot
paan khaa lo
Eat some betel leaf
bahut khaa chuke...
I've already eaten a lot
aji ras-malaayi
Hey, some dessert
aapke li'e
For you
itni mithaayi
Just a few sweets
aapke li'e
For you
pahele juute
First the shoes
khaayeinge kya
You wanna eat them? ("Feeding
X a shoe" means "beating X up")
aapki marzi
Whatever you please
na ji tauba...
No, sir, for God's sake!
kisi betuke shaayar ki besuri kavvaaliyon
You're like some discordant qawwaali's mis-rhyming poem.
duulhe ki saaliyon o hare dupatte valiyon
O sisters-in-law, o green-scarved maidens,
juute de do paise le lo...
Hand over the shoes and take the money
juute do paise lo
Give us the shoes; take the money
