    ITT: Game songs that make you nostalg' and sadface.

    I may be considered a raging ****** but every time I beat Star Fox 64 the ending theme and high score input list song both make me go "I miss 10 years ago! ;_;"

    Others include Mischief Makers title screen, as well as Besaid Island from FFX.

    anyone else have any songs from vidya games that make you go =(?

      Oh man I know the feeling. ;_;

      This one level in Kirby's Dream Land for GB. I think it involved clouds. I heard a remix a while ago and almost burst into tears.

          I don't like game music that gives me a "sadface". The songs that I remember from a game are the epic ones, for example, the Golden Sun battle theme, The Decisive Battle, and anything Zelda.

                      Green Hill Zone as well as some others from Sonic the Hedgehog :'/

                      Subarishiki Shin Sekai is on my SM. The piano version is just beautiful.

                          A lot of the Final Fantasy songs can do that.. To Zanarkand, for one.

                              forget To Zanarkand. The Ending Theme from the piano collections for FFX is amazingly epicly saddening. To Zanarkand doesn't even hold a candle to it in my mind. I don't even know how I forgot that one. And Suteki Da Ne. But I think that song's more epic than saddening due to violin solos.

                              Also the credits/ending from OoT, and Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64.

                                  Suteki Da Ne is great, but the one FFX song that has a huge power over me is the hymn of the faith.

                                  Other than that the halo theme can provoke some powerful emotions too. Not just sad, but songs of that nature can have quite the profound effect.

                                      There are tons of songs that do this to me. The song that stands out the most to me though is Radical Dreamers from Chrono Cross.

                                                  Fountain of Dreams and Butter Building from Kirby's adventure.

                                                  I must of been the only person that listened to these songs way back when they came out on Kirby's Adventure. It made me so nostalgic when I heard them on Super Smash Brothers, I had to whip out my NES (which took forever to get working again) and play Kirby's Adventure again .

                                                  Edit: I'm not sure if the song Fountain of Dreams from Super Smash Brothers is actually called that on Kirby's Adventure, cause it plays on the final battle with Dee Dee Dee, which isn't actually on the chapter Fountain of Dreams. Oh well.
