    I just had a crazy thought

    Obviously there's been lots of controversy over how songs are graded in FFR. Since the game is almost entirely combo-based, a miss-flag with otherwise good PA will almost always be a worse rank then a mashed full-combo. I basically just told you what you already knew.

    So anyways i was thinking, what if a single miss didn't stop your combo? Instead, your combo kept going until 2 consecutive misses were made. I think this would provide a more realistic ranking system, and eliminate a lot of mashing.

    Anyways its just a thought i had off the top of my head.

                          Your proposal makes absolutely no sense. A combo is the total number of arrows hit sequentially, why make it that if you miss you don't lose combo, that sort of defeats the entire purpose of calling it "combo" or even having combo in the first place. Once you miss you lose combo, that's logical.

                          If anything the proposal should just be to base scores on something other than combo, but that will no doubt be addressed in future upgrades of FFR.

                              Missing = combo breaker. Like TRD said, the possibility of the scores being based on something else other than combo will more than likely be done as FFR progresses in its updates.

                                          One thing to note for some people. This wouldn't mean you get a full combo on a song, it would be far easier to score higher but it would not mean you get a full combo. Explanation:

                                          Song has 500 arrows.

                                          You hit all 500, you FC the song.
                                          You hit 250 notes, miss one (don't lose combo), hit the remaining 249. You end the song with a combo of 499, which wouldn't be an FC.

                                          The only difference this suggestion makes is that you would get a score based on total arrows hit (so long as you only missed one at a time) rather than single combo. I still stand by my views in my first post but just wanted to point that out to people.

                                              Wow, then we'd like have to reset all the scores in the game, and if they actually DID like this idea (they won't and it won't happen) they might as well just removes combos instead.
