    The "max" reaction

    This is what happens when you play around a bunch of kids who are 12 and who are like "whoa can you play on standard?". This is the response you get when you choose any max or paranoia survivor song on heavy and pass, or even if you don't pass and just get a decent way in.

    I just think it's funny that some people will stand in awe and watch as I bar rape to get a C on max 300 which, though I can't do better, I still know is pretty terrible, but all the kids stand in awe and the parents who have social skills will say things like "wow how long have you been playing?" "Do you practice all the time?" and "you should join a dance team?" (not kidding, possible the most insulting thing this lady could have said).

    Anyway, I was wondering if you have any cool stories of this sort?

                          i did max 300 on standard just to show off to the ppl dancing next to me and they tell me i should be in a club so i laughed at them (they were doin some easy @$$ song on light mode)

                                      usually when I play at the mall at school, when I go out to the food court (right outside the arcade) to sit down and take a breather, someone will start asking me all the classic questions...all I've gotten though (apparently A'ing an 8 footer is like O_O in the north country of new york hehe)
                                      Reach: there was this bee. i hate bee\'s...i tryed to kill it, but then it didn\'t die and it started making weird noises so i was like oh (#$% hes gonna sting me. i started running but i triped over some rock and rolled down a hill into the river.

                                          abyss on heavy is pretty easy (at least for me)
                                          i cant wait till i can show off by being able to do max 300 heavy
                                          *sigh* but that will be a very long time i can do standard though

                                              the funniest thing i ever had happen was someone asked me if i take salsa classes after seeing me play... i was confused... to my under standing ddr doesn't really resemble salsa.

                                                  I played DDR at an arcade today, I VERY RARELY get this opportunety because I don't have a PS@ or XBOX and there's no machenes near me.

                                                  Anyways, this is like the 2nd time I've ever played the game, and people just stare. Then I tried Max 300 on heavy befor eI was about to leave. I survived about 1/2 way through, the other half I was just wron out so I only stepped to a couple arrows (I was playing versus so the guy beside me was keeping me alive). but yeah, my first half was pretty much B or A material and then all I hear is the little 10 year old girls behind me say "wow" or "woah" or..... something....

                                                  meh, you can't really blame them. If you can AA Max 300 you have talent and there's a lot of people who play DDR a lot, but can only do standard songs. So give you're self a pat on the back, at least your good enough for people to appreciate you.

                                                      lol i love showing off for people the only songs i cant do is maxes and paranoia 280 & 290 on heavy i love when ppl watch me do simple songs like healing vision angelic mix or cant stop fallin in love speed mix there jsut like WHOAh and me n my friend are preety good and we play the same song on the same diff we get big crowds cuase are arcade ddr machine we have one near the door and the wall is glass facing the mall so we jsut get lotsa ppl watching its greatness, thouhg my friend normaly shows me up since he can do every song on heavy and can B the maxes

                                                          I remember back when i played incredibly simple songs like Healing Vision on standard, and old white couples would come up to me and start trying to converse with me acting as if im trying to sell a ddr pad to them.
                                                          Now I'm a heavy player, and it seems like they are afraid of me
