    Damn arrow keys!

    I have kind of a newbie question here.
    So I just got good enough to pass most Challenging songs that I try.
    Thing is that I'm trying to do even better songs, but everytime I press more than 2 arrowkeys at the same time, it gets a lagalicious for three seconds and next thing I know I'm in the red.
    Anyone have an idea how to fix this problem with just a regular Compaq keyboard?

      Get a new keyboard.

          Well, if you play one handed, try using the 2468 on the numpad on the right, or use two arrows and two numpad buttons. If you want to do really better at FFR, switch to spread, which is (Left index) + (Left Middle) + (Right Index) + (Right Middle), fingers that is. Use a keymap, which can be changed by pressing the settings button in the ffr game. Then there's a setting where you can change the keymap to different keys. I suggest doing ASKL, a for left, s for down, k for up, and l for right. You will get better really fast. And there's no lagalicious.

              Is num lock on? If so, take it off. I forget why, but it causes some keyboards to lag horribly when playing FFR, especially when multiple arrows are hit at once, mainly on older ones (I think it has to do with conflicting signals). It works for me when I play using my mom's older keyboard.

                  Dude. I just passed Death Piano cause of the ASKL thing.

                              I can't use the arrow keys at all, I use h,j,k,l with my right hand. It's just a lot more comfortable for me.
