As I might have been sounding a bit negative towards Telliath in a previous post, I personally wanted to point out certain things in his production. And maybe he has some feedback on this that might get him to work out his track a bit more.
Even though, on last tuesday I already got the question about a complete guide on how to create a drum and bass track (and also how to create a straight forward trance song). I was up to the challenge onto creating this complete tutorial about how to approach drum and bass. And this one has taken me almost 5 days to write.
This tutorial might still have some rough edges left and right. But as I was building a song, I kind of wrote the tutorial next to it while I was progressing.
I have also submitted the song to newgrounds this afternoon, and I am only waiting for it to be published (since it is my first submition to newground I have to go through a validation process of some kind).
The tutorial is mainly focussing on propellerhead Reason 4. But as I am also 'debating' the thoughts about how to approach certain 'problems' I personally think it could be a DnB tutorial on any music editing studio (also why I dropped in the Mp3 files so anyone could listen to the parts that I am discussing).
I have a thing with long posts.. here is the link:
Drum and Bass tutorial
Hopefully this might help people who are struggling with DnB or just need another view on this.
