    B-Sides (so to speak)

I dont know about you, but I have tons of songs that I have spent a lot of time on, but there always seemed to be some sort of emptiness to them, so I never completed them. So I made this thread to honor the songs that will never be.

I will post some of mine soon.

That doesn't happen to me often. I have a bunch of crappy starts that I spent like 1 hour on, but nothing thats like halfway done and then dropped. I can usually tell if something isn't up to par in the beginning and I don't waste time on it. If I'm not inspired from beginning to end of the music making process, then I don't like making music. I try to keep it that way.

Hmm...actually, Jewp, I think Twelve has potential. A lot of good conflicting noises in the background, but I noticed a few things. The first of which would be: the organ, that takes prominence throughout the entire song? TAKE IT OUT. It's very hard on the ears. The organ solo in the beginning also goes about two bars too long. But if you either wayyy tone down the organ or give it less stardom, I think it could definitely be a very good song. I give it 2.5 LEETS UP (fix the organ and that'll bump up a full point).

I only like the synth that comes in around :45. Other than that, everything about Twelve sucks. Crappy instruments (that clash with eachotheR), hard on ears, bad melodies.

Yeah, I know, it hurts my ears too, that is why I gave up on it. I would fix it, but I dont even like the song, so what is the point?

I was stumbling across older songs and pads that I've written to find a synth I designed, and instead came across this.

It has potential to be a full song, but I don't really have the time or desire currently to make it into that, so it is going to be left as a five minute scratch work and continue to sound like it. Maybe someone can breathe some life into it?
