    PSP (Phantasy Star Portable)

Japan has released a demo for PSP of the game PSP, I guess we can expect a American demo in a few weeks most likely. If you care at all, you can play the japanese demo on your PSP, although you most likely won't understand anything being it's in Japanese -_-

You have to have a PSP with firmware 3.95 or higher to play this demo, but if you've been keeping up with the PSP scene, and have a modded PSP already, you can use Dax's USB Version faker, which you can get here: http://pspupdates.qj.net/Dark-AleX-s.../49/aid/122175
(you have to have a modded psp to use that, otherwise you will have to update to firmware 3.95 or higher)

For those who don't want to upgrade higher than 3.95, you can download the firmware update here: http://download.chip.eu/en/PSP-Firmw...95_156875.html

And anyway, you can download the demo here: http://www.pspfanboy.com/2008/07/11/...loadable-demo/

I know PSU isn't liked by many PS fans, but it's a pretty successful game, and I enjoy (probably because I haven't played any other PS aside from BB which I hated), figured I might share this with some of you on FFR who may be fans of the game also.

I played the demo story and a bit of the multiplayer (although the multiplayer isn't really multiplayer yet, it's more like extra mode from psu). The story is a bit different from the PSU story, you can use your own character similar to how the online story was in PSU, and Laia is you're instructor, your partner is some female cast, I couldn't read anything or understand what anyone was saying, so that's pretty much all the info I have.

    Enjoy!

Very nifty version evader, I'm always having to use devhook when I want to play higher version demos. Thanks for that link. I don't want to play the Japanese game though, I'll wait for a US version.

It most likely won't take long for an American version to come out, so it's worth waiting, probably less than a month, I'll post a link to that when it's released
