    Late New Year's Resolution :O (get free credits here!)

    Ok, I'm starting to realise I'm using the abbreviation "lol" too much.

    So, I've come to a little conclusion - No saying that annoying-as-hell abbreviation for the rest of 2008. If you catch me saying it, whether that's in a chat, on the forums or on a profile, anything at all... Screenshot it and send it to me on this thread or via pm, and there will then be an obligation for me to send you 2500 credits. Have fun.

              Better late than never I suppose.

              Also, I think I'm guilty of this over AIM. But recently I've just started to use more variety (i.e. rofl, lawl, lmao). It allows me to lol as much as I wan't and isn't as tiresome nor repetitive for the person I'm talking to.

              Use that to ween yourself if you must. XD

                                  You shouldn't stop saying it completely. It has its situations just like any other laughing expression. Most of mine are Haha/lol, then it's like Hahahah/lmao, and PPAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!/rofl. The haha's are fun to trill, too. So, you get a little more out of it.

                                                      You should know that British spelling is different to American spelling. Neither is correct, nor incorrect. As long as one is used, it is appropriate, not the other.
