So, a while back in my Honors English class...my teacher said we could write a poem for a few bonus points...so I did =]
Only got five friggin points for it though...everyone did =/
Lemme know what you think (It's the best one I've done, and it's not too great)
The end of the year is finally here!
My brain is dead and I need a new head.
I took a month off and I am in shock,
My English grade dropped like a rock!
I am thinking hard on how to bring up my grade,
I can't concentrate; my mind's in the shade!
I'm having trouble that soon will double
While trying to dig out of the rubble.
At poetry, I can tell, is where I excel,
So I try not to make another mistake.
Now here I am, writing this tale,
To make sure I don't miserably fail.
The teacher is great, but the work we hate.
But one say she said, "Students, turn your heads!"
"You can write a verse for a point or two!"
I thought, "Now this assignment, I can do."
