    Sorry guys...

    First of all,

I would like to say that I am sorry for hurting your ears with teh horrible recording.

Second, Specforces, I am sorry for trying to steal your thread. I saw the "People that listen to metal" and didn't pay attention to your post.

Third, I am sorry for being blind to how bad the song was.

Fourth, I am sorry for trying to make a recording so early. However, I wish to track progress.

Fifth, I am sorry for being an @$$hole to you guys giving the harsh criticism to try to help. But you probably know why I was.

Lastly, I am just sorry for trying to advertise myself so early.

Guys, I'll try not to let it happen again. I am deeply sorry.

    Sincerely,

    A Sorry Cursebred

Death Metal and Black Metal for the WIN!

    That is all.

aw man ur demo is not that bad, for real... don't take all these comments too seriously.. if your happy of what you did , fine and continue to progress and making music.. you know.. when i play guitar or drums i dont even care what people think of what i played, music is a big part of our life and don't let people kill your hobby with bad comments, just ignore. your song would kick ass if it was recorded in studio . Good luck with your band ,
    props to you

It was decent. Not the kind of song you can listen to more than once in a row, but I liked it, :3

posting here to minimize derailing on spec's thread

Just don't listen to it if you don't even listen to metal. Besides, it was a demo in an "at-home" studio. What do you expect?
I listen to more metal than anything else, so I don't know where you pulled that from.

Also, home recording isn't an excuse for bad production - there's huge gaps, the microphone sounds horrible and you kept breathing into it. These are all avoidable.

But that's not the biggest problems. The main problems, as I said, lie in the music itself - the lead guitar was dull and uninspired, and the fact that it was disgustingly out of tune made it painful. The growling just sucked. I could do better, and I don't even like growling. The drums were fine, and the bass was acceptable, but the track overall had no life to it at all.
