    Jet Li's last???

    Alright, I have been wondering why they said when the movie Fearless was coming out that it was Jet Li's last? Because he is still making movies so I'm guessing he decided to return to film making?
    Am I mistaken or does anyone know why?
    I'm just confused.. lol

          Jet Li said that Fearless would be his last ACTION movie. But apparently, he changed his mind after starring in the movie War. And now he is in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

          So, obviously he changed his mind. And that was definitely his last movie. He is only 40-50. So I don't know why he would just stop making movies if people that are like 70 (that old dude in Rush Hour 3) are getting roles (whether major or minor - excluding the guy that points) in the movies.

                          you try playing an asian american while having his accent

                          he keeps playing those roles because its the only thing he is capable of doing and people keep coming to see him do it

                              maybe if he worked on his accent he wouldnt be playing the asian american

                              also i can see him playing an old white guy

                              and micheal jackson wasnt broken and he got fixed

                                  I really don't think that someone can easily alter their accent to that of an American unless they come from a country that already speaks English, like Australia or England.

                                      Meh, if I'd live in America for say 3-5 years I'm confident I'd be able to talk with an American accent.

                                              Europeans can easily adjust. Europeans generally are all in the same area, so languages and sounds have some similarities. It's difficult for people like Asians, as we have a completely different set of sounds we use to speak with. I don't think the v sound is used in most Asian languages, for example. Tone of voice and accenting certain sounds play a role too.

                                                  It's especially difficult for us Filipinos. I mean the "f" is like a "p", and vice-versa.

                                                          He said his last wushu epic. He wold continue to make films, but Fearless was his last movie where he would perform wushu.
