    soda machines now accept atm cards

    alright so I was at the mall like 5 minutes ago and as I was walking out I saw a soda machine and decided to purchase one I pull out some quarters from my pocket look up and theres something I never thought I I would ever see on a soda machine a slot to slide your atm card. so I took a picture with my phone. now im still on my phone so i'll upload it later

              at least in the US... any agency would need a warrant to get access to your banking transactions. i don't see how any kind of paranoia would even play a factor in anything relating to banking, especially something as trivial as this.

                  yeah, these are actually pretty common. we have them in the mall by us. pretty handy actually.

                      Yea, these are not new at all. Six Flags have been using them for a long time now. Quite handy though, if you don't have cash on you.

                                          In Japan many machines will actually use your cell phone, which in Japan they frequently link up to an account precisely so they can do this sort of thing. I think you just press the cell phone up to a little thinger... I don't know, I've never seen it done, but I know they do it.
