    Nearby players / Neighbours system using Latitude/Longitude

    found the system on deviantart

    you punch in your info (and only if one wants to)
    then using a Neighbours button on the profile you can see players near you

      there's a thread that was recently revived in ffr general that was similar to this.

          Actually, I think this would be pretty cool. I really loved the way deviantart implemented it, and i think it would be a good feature for ffr.

          Edit: It wouldn't take much programming either.

                  It would be great to have something like this on FFR.
                  It could probably lead to real life tournaments/events where lots of FFR users are located.

                                      I could totally tie this into google maps to show pins where the user's are located. This can be pretty awesome.
