    FINAL FANTASY XIII(13) PS3 and X360 Confirmed.

    Just announced at Microsoft's E3 2008 conference this morning. Coming to both platforms same date in Europe and North America.


    Nintendo's and Sony's E3 conference haven't started yet and won't till tomorrow.

      Hmm FF on a Microsoft console. Strange, but cool I guess. I mean i don't have either =/ But 360 is cheaper last I checked, so that's good.

          Has this been explained yet?

          Final Fantasy is a big Japan thing, and Xbox360 is literally not even a blip over there. It makes no sense... unless they're doing it just for American gamers. But even then, don't they have more to gain by motivating fanboys to buy the Sony console? I don't know... maybe Sony doesn't like it when people buy a PS3, one game, and NOTHING ELSE.

              That is effing awesome, I was going to buy a PS3 exclusively for this reason and I am getting a 360 for my birthday, so WOOT!

                  Well they didn't say anything about it coming to Japan on the same date. So I'm sure Japan will get it on the PS3 first since... everyone knows the 360 fails over there.



                  This wasn't a move done by Sony. I think it was a move started by Microsoft by flashing Money in Square-Enix's eyes. Just like Devil May Cry, Ace Combat, Star Ocean, Rock Band 2. Timed exclusives or not exclusives anymore just because Microsoft is willing to wave there endless cash flow at other people.

                      Wow...this is gonna be interesting...Final Fantasy XIII on the 360...I'll get it now. I have a 360, and wasn't planning on getting a PS3 anytime soon...I'm curious as to why putting it on the PS3 AND 360...or for that matter just it being on the 360 period....we'll see how this will play out though. I'm sure it will be a normal FF though, and there won't be much difference between the two.

                          The only difference I could see is the 360 version being multidisk, like Lost Odyssey, and the PS3 version fitting onto one disk because of Blu-Ray.

                          To some Multidisk games are annoying and require more hassle.

                              Won't bother me at all lol. That would be probably be the only difference. Yay for not needing to get a PS3 now!

                                  If it has the same battle system as XII then I won't even be checking it out. That battle system felt more like an uninvolved hack and slash game rather than an RPG.

                                      XII battle system; goes both ways in the crowd. Personally I like it. But it seems to be loved or hated.
                                      But, no from he trailers, it looks very different than XII.

                                                      Well they say there's going to be a FFXII "series' or something of the sort. There's FXII, FFXII:Versus and FFXII Agito. I don't know too much about them though. Have been too lazy to read. Maybe at one point. Anyways, someone who knows more, please take over.

                                                          From what I'm hearing it's basically another game that takes place in the same universe but doesn't involve any of the characters.
