On my Logitech Elite keyboard:
I have a 3 buttons up top set for 3 different playlists on Winamp. I have another set for Stepmania.
I have shortcuts for away messages on Trillian. Alt+s is for my sleeping away message, alt+b is to set me back, and alt+many others for different away messages. So whenever I leave I quickly hit alt+something to put up an away message. It saves a lot of time.
On my Logitech mx700 mouse:
I have my front thumb button set for ctrl+shift, so I can open pages in tabbed backgrounds in Opera. The back thumb button is a quick switch (kind of like an alt-tab listing). My cruise buttons are set for home (up) and end (down), that way I can use my scroll mouse to scroll and those cruise buttons to get to the top or bottom of webpages with a single click. My button below the cruise-down is set to minimize all, which is very useful. Last but certaintly not least, my scroll button is set to F5, which allows refreshing with ease.
