    Life Bar + Autofail Suggestions

    Read through the thread, I came up with a better idea that I think will work better, and more people like:

          neat idea +1 support.

          plus you would know straight away where you got goods during streams or jumps if you're AAAing. you wouldn't have to go through replays to find them

              This would actually make Zephon alot easier to get.

              Bluearrowll = The Canadian player who can not detect awkward patterns. If it's awkward for most people, it's normal for Terry. If the file is difficult but super straight forward, he has issues. If he's AAAing a FGO but then heard that his favorite Hockey team was losing by a point, Hockey > FFR

                  Yeah; something that tells you if you've gotten a good would be really awesome. +1 support

                  What would be even better though, would be to have an actual counter (e.g. a big yellow number to the right or left) that shows the number of goods you have at any given time (there could be an orange number for average, red for miss, brown for boo, if it was really needed). This would allow for more flexibility; autofail needs to be planned, and this could help for playing in general.

                    I'm sorry but suggestions, while technically suggestions, are starting to get a bit unrealistic. While little things like this would be cool, it's just an additional and isn't really needed.

                    EDIT: Also, this isn't something that the majority of FFR users would use... it falls under a semi-competitive user feature.

                      What happens when someone sets the autofail-lifebar to 3600 goods?

                      Whether or not anyone would do such a thing does not really matter; there should not be an option to do what cannot be done. Therefore, I think there should be a PGAMB counter (similar to the one in MP) during gameplay, to allow you to know how many of each grade you have.

                        You only see it if you're using autofail, and if you're using autofail, can we reasonably say that you're playing FFR semi-competitively? What is the reason behind using autofail in the first place? Well, to improve your accuracy, of course. Unless you're using it to get some of the pseudo-skill token songs, which in that case, this could still be useful.

                        Well, the ability to type 3600 into the "good" spot on the autofail isn't coming from me. However, to address your question, the same thing would happen as if you were to set autofail to 3600 goods right now. The game would play as normal, and it would fail you if you somehow got 3600 goods. As for what the bar would look like, well I couldn't say. Obviously it isn't going to go down very much in that scenario, as it's pretty hard to get an extremely high good count like that anyway.

                          It would be hard to get such a high number of goods, but not hard to get enough goods to be too large for the game screen, which is why I am still leaning toward the idea of a counter.

                            Ahhh I think I see where you're going with this.

                            There would need to be something set up so that if you set your autofail count to a higher number than a certain value (I'm thinking 25, before the segments will be too small to tell them apart from each other), the bar will switch from segments to something like the actual life bar that's already in the game.
