    Could someone explain the ingame top 10 list to me?

    The reason I'm saying this, is because, I would like to know, if this maintains forever?



    It's the first time my name appears in the ingame list, so I'm really excited about it... lol! But seriously, Does my name stay there forever?

      No it doesn't last forever. It's really hard for me to explain in words how it works, but basically whoever played the song for their first time -after- you are above you, and the people who played for their first time -before- you are below you.

          If I'm not mistaken I remember hearing that it is relative to number of plays for the AAA.

          Example:

          Jim sightread AAA's-he will ALWAYS be at the top of the list if he is the first person to sight AAA.


          This would explain why laggy and rubix are at the top of most lists-they sight AAA everything.

          Also for easy songs Tass is usually at the top of because he gets to play every file first and if he AAA's first try he gets top spot.

              the list is weird when there are less than 10 names on it. once there are more than 10, it goes to a specific formula...

              it goes off of the FIRST time you played the song. whoever is the most recent person to FIRST play the song and AAA it, will be at the top. then the 2nd most recent to 1st play it. that's why if there is already 10+ names on it and you sightread AAA a song, your name is at the top.

              that is also why my name is NEVER on the top10 list once there are 10+ names... because i'm the 1st to play every song.

                      right. because there are 10 or less. it's by 1st to AAA (i think) when there are 10 or less. then changes with 11+. i did say that...

                          To add, let's say you play a song for the first time and get like 20 Good, then 10 people play it after that first time you played and AAA it. Even if you AAA it now, you won't be on the list.

                          Now let's say there are 10 players. 8 Have AAAs, 2 have 2 Good. You play it now for the first time and get 3 Good. You don't make the list. If you play it again and AAA, you will move to spot 1. If instead you get 1 or 2 Good, you will move to spot 9.

                          Last, a scenario where 4 people play a song and AAA, you play and blackflag, 6 more people play and AAA. You're off the list right now, but chronologically, you are the 5th person to play. If you play it right now and AAA, you will take spot #6 on the list (5th from the bottom).

                                  It doesn't... as soon as 10 people AAA it after the first time you played it, your name will be gone.

                                      This is why you see Villiex on top (or close) for a lot of VCs...he's the most recent person to play and AAA them.

                                              And Erich, that's really weird. But to be honest with you, it's happened to me before. I just explained what the normal behavior is... because I've seen it happen on songs I AAAed and even didn't AAA.
