    JE SUIS LA!

    From my 5 day absence or so, I AM BACK!!

    I hate getting groundd...for wearing white socks instead of black when ushering at a Bar-Mitzvah. My parents said it was not the socks, but the principal of responsibility...bullshit.

          What the hell's a Bar-Mizvah? And why does it matter what colour socks you wear? Is it some jewish law or something?

              No, it is not a Jewish law...I can see it now:

              THOU SHALT NOT WEAR WHITE SOCKS, OR THOU SHALT BE SMITTEN BY ADONAI YOUR GOD!!!!

              No, black socks is just what you wear at a nice occasion.

                      Adonai is "lord" in Hebrew. God's actual name is unknown/unpronouncable, and in a different alphabet, so I can't really write it up here. It is Yud Hay Vav Hay, or YHVH. Pronounced Yaveh or Yaweh, supposedly. There are like 50 ways to write his name, but I'm not religious, and I won't get into that. Too complicated.

                                  Actually it is a jewish law...aswell as some other religions too...

                                  It was the 13th commandment, but then Homer, or Mose, or Jesus had to go and drop it. It read:

                                  Thou Shalt not wearith White socks during special occassions or thou shall be grounded for one week from the internet.

                                  There was one more that said to respect Jewpinthethird, and give him money and chocolate...NOW GET TO IT.

                                      yeah, i can read hebrew.

                                      I had my bar mitzvah last August.

                                      I am now a "son of the commandments"

                                      But yeah, i think i wore black socks.............

                                              im not jewish, but since QB didnt answer the question, a bar mitzvah (or however you spell it) is basically like a coming of age kinda thing.
                                              Tips on life:
                                              1) Don\'t work so hard
                                              2)Get more sleep
                                              3)Relax!

                                              Because in the end, everything tastes like chicken.
                                              And chicken... tastes good...
