    The Belgariad Series

Has anyone read this awesome series by David Eddings? It's about a young boy's rise to be king of a vast land mixed with magic and heroics. It goes through his innumerable adventures with his quest mates and then what happens during his reign. It is seriously one of the best descriptions of magic I have ever read.

    Re: The Belgariad Series

Yeah I have. I read the entire series back three or four years ago. I still remember Eddings' writings as being some of the finest that I have ever read. Very intricate plot, and they truly were a joy to read. The series had a great impact on me, as I was just hitting puberty and Garion (if i remember his name correctly) was around this age as well. I haven't read any of Eddings' other work, but if anyone has read some of it and has feedback on whether it's worth reading or not... I would love to hear it.

Also to the OP, did you notice any repetition in Eddings' writing in the last book of the series? While I was reading it, I noticed that he used the same expressions repetitively. This didn't really affect the fact that it was a great series overall though, just something I noticed.
