I think this little add-on would be neat. It would get everyone to FFR quicker and for those who dont know how to change the home page.

I know it is, but I'm just stating that at the base of things, people should learn how to do it even that way, or any which way.
Over simplification is why we end up getting idiotic questions on the internet. Nobody has been forced to learn things and they end up asking how to do every little simple thing.Comment

This function is not necessary.
Although, a more appropriate suggestion is when you register as a new user on FFR, there is an option saying "Set FFR as your homepage?". Unfortunately, even this idea would not work. New people would not have a broad range of idea what FFR is all about, and they wouldn't just set FFR as their homepage without checking it out first.
When they do find out that FFR is the greatest thing that has ever happened to them, they would use common sense and pick out internet options and change their homepage manually.
Setting your homepage is simply click and go. It is not something you must continuously update, etc. The homepage function you have mentioned will only apply to a small group of people on FFR, and after the single click, it would be near pointless.

well people here apparently dont know much about computers if they have to ask how to take a screenshot. Just because you know how to do it doesnt mean someone else does too.

Really, nobody should have to ask "how do I take a screenshot" when you can go on google and find the answer in 2 seconds.
