    How is overall rank calculated

    is it the best score in each song and you make the total= grand total = rank?

    or is it any song you play add to the grand total aka rank?

      It's just what your grand total score adds up to be compared to everyone else

          its how many total points you have.

          Average rank is... your average rank on every song.

                          sure. overall rank is merely a measure of how much you play. skill really isn't a big factor, although you get more points per song play when you play harder songs and combo them... but, it's mostly about time spent playing.

                          average rank is straight skill... but does basically require that you spend time "whoring" every public song in the game.

                              thats stupid lol i wont play 80k games to get my true rank nor will i waste time doing AAA when i consider 1999 perf and 1 good as hard to do as 2k perfect just one is mostly luck.

                                      A good average rank is generally more indicative of a skilled player than overall rank is.

                                              Well you just have to play every song at least once. That how the game average ranking is done whether its a indicator of skill or not.
