Here is a screenshot of me getting 6 goods on Gaussian Blur 3 but no token. It doesn't say that I had to get a FC or no boos or anything, but I'm assuming that's the case. Can mods fix this/players give me advice? This is pretty cool for me and I'm quite proud of myself, but I still need to improve immensely.

the problem is you must only get goods
so 9-0-0-0 or less without averages and/or boos
SDG=single digit good(supposed to be implied that you have to get 0 on everything else)

I guess a lot of people aren't familiar with SDG, but like Adam said, it implies no averages, misses or boos - just goods.

Uh, when I unlocked this song last year I got 2-0-0-1. I'm pretty sure this song is score-related, like get a certain number of points to unlock it. That is why you need to FC it.

Back in the day I unlocked it with a 4-0-0-3.
Some skill tokens, however, you can get no boos.

Yes, you need a score that would be anywhere less than the score you would get for a 9-0-0-0.
For example, you could get 0-3-0-5. That score would be better than a 9-0-0-0 thus you should get the token.Comment

this specific skill token (it is one of the very first ones) was coded based on score. you need a score equal to 9-0-0-0 or better. so 7-1-0-1 or 5-2-0-3, etc etc... will unlock it. 9-0-0-1 will not. and a non-FC will not (unless it's, like, 1-0-1-1 with a miss on the last note).RIPComment
