    Re: sheet music

Stargroup didn't make demon fire? wasn't that the person who had a bunch of 9s in their name?

I think you mean death piano...and demon fire already has sheet music...but it's damn hard.

Gaussian blur 3 sounded something similar to a piano...but not a piano. I'm assuming it could still be played on the piano.

GB3 uses some super cheesey harpsichord. Get ahold of Kil's FLP and you could figure it out.
put on a donk on it

He's talking about sheet music not FFR.

well see, the harpiscord was used hundreds of years ago and the piano succeeded it so im guessing it can be done on piano.

i didnt know gb3 was supposed to be a joke, i do like the song tho.

For one, I really doubt there is going to be sheet music for that anytime soon, its a very intricate piece.

And two, its for a piano quartet, meaning four pianos playing it, it would be physically impossible for one person to learn and play all four parts at the same time.

dood gone krazee, I really doubt you'd need FOUR PIANOS to play that song. Two, tops.

Death Piano probably wasn't even made to be playable (kind of like stuff by Maurice Ravel (boom t'sch)). It was made on the computer. If it were made to be playable, then easily one piano could play it, because it definitely sounds like it's confined to only two hands.

and the ABSOLUTE winner.... FFR thong with "Too Tight" across the front. the back would also work, but then it wouldn't be a thong.

I listened again. Again, I'm almost positive it was only two voices. And at the very most, you'd only need two pianos. I have never heard of ever requiring four pianos to play a piece. I mean, there are only 7 and 1/3 octaves on a piano for Pete's sake!

I can hear all four, myself. Also, because the different parts could be played on the same octaves, you probably could not use two pianos.

Listen again and do so carefully: four pianos. Especially in minimal music more pieces have been written for piano quartet (like Canto Ostinato), so it isn't unique. I'm sure you could thin it out to make it playable for two pianos though, but you would need to massacre it to make it a regular two-hand piece. Besides, you wouldn't be able to play it.

OK. I think I heard three voices. Whatever. I still do not believe that for any reason one needs eight hands to perform a piece, and that includes this one. Two. That's it. And the fact that it exists does not change the fact that it is extremely rare and should not exist. This could be played on two pianos easily... well as easily as anybody could play the piece.

Keep telling yourself that you can distinguish eight hands playing the piano.
