Probably like 30 hours per track. This one, probably like 25 hours...I was sort-of "loose" with the details on this one so it took a bit less time. I didn't do a whole lot of refining little things because I felt this track was good with a messy aesthetic...it makes it more human, sort of like a sketchy drawing style. At least that's how I think about things (lots of parallels between visual art and music for me).

The sounds in the long intro are mostly a chunk of the orchestral bits from previous track i.transmit.this run through a bunch of stutter and glitch effects, and I think it is reversed and pitched down too, so that whole chunk of sounds was done quickly and doesn't sound like the previous song.

I'm amazed by how much you've managed to develop and maintain a distinct style along the way. I remember long ago you claimed Hybrid as an influence, but I think you're more versatile than Hybrid at this point and you're still very young in your career. I don't think I've ever been disappointed from anything I've heard from you and this is still true now!

Your newest work has always reminded me of BT's music, and that's what I was expecting before listening to this. It's exactly what I was expecting.

You're by far one of the best musicians I've come across, professionals and amateurs alike. Great work as always.

A lot of people say my last album sounds like BT's This Binary Universe, and I was quite inspired by it.

Glad people are liking the track. I just made a short edit that I designed for FFR/stepmania and submitted to FFR folks, so hopefully it will get in FFR at some point:

The beginning is quite mellow, but the main parts of the song are pretty hard (as in bass, kicks, synth, etc.) Is this an experimental track? Looking at your other stuff, this feels slightly unfinished (I know you said that XD) and looks/sounds amateur compared to your other works. It's really good once it gets to the main melody, but the build-up takes too long.

This coming from someone who still really likes your Adjusting to Reality, so take that into account lol.

EDIT: I didn't see the game edit. That's much better lol. I'll try stepping that for SM. Seems that people that frequent the brag board like my files hehehe.

Every track I do is an experiment

. This song is supposed to take its time and be something to listen to, not to dance to. It's not built under pop music guidelines to make it quickly accessible and to the point for those without the will to dedicate more than 3 minutes of attention to a song. It's completely finished. I don't want to change anything. I just said that it is loose. Not every bit lines up, some parts begin and end in un-orthodox places, and that's how I want it. Symmetry and order can be mechanical and uninteresting, and for this aesthetic I've decided break it up a bit.
