    eek! Can this be fixed?

So I got jeskola buzz and started writting my first song. It sounded pretty cool but I had to get off the computer so I saved it and closed buzz. The next day when i try and open my song and i get an error saying:

parameters for 'machine asedev a2pfilter04' stored in the file are not compatible with the installed version of the machine. Patterns for this machine can not be loaded. Note that if you save your song again the patterns will be permanetly lost.

The next screen comes up where you can search for a machine. I tried to do that but shortly after buzz just crashes everytime. I also serached buzzmachines.com for that specific maching but they only have asedev a2pfilter02. I believe the problem filter is part of a drum beat template called resonance that i wanted to use in my song.

Is there anyway I can fix this and get my patterns back?

    ~Thanks

Hmm...try creating a copy of the machine "a2pfilter02" and rename it "asedev a2pfilter04" and try it then.

I had a similar problem with one of SpookG's songs and that is what I did and fixed it. Also, you maybe have to reinstall buzz, just save the bmx file somewhere else.

You need to go into the file which contains the generator/effect/whatever it is and rename it there.

I got it but it was extremely gay on my comp. Didn't even load.

                Sry.

Ahhh, the joys of Buzz. I had given up on it again, but Spook showed me how to get some nice dnb/nuskool b-lines out of it. Looks like I'll be crashing my comp again.
