    Cloverfield - Easter Egg!?

    Ok, just because I'm probably not one of the only people who pee'd their pants waiting for cloverfield to come out on DVD, i just wanted to check in on the movie website, you know... to hunt for new easter egg stuff. And guess what I found! A wierd Easter Egg! I don't know if it happenes all the time but I went to the site, clicked on the "grab this widget" thing, and a new window pop'ed up, but In the backround on the main site, you can clearly see what looks like a scene from the movie... OR IS IT??? Anyone know what it is (if you can find it)?

    P.S. I just visited the site again. It always happens! About 10 - 15 seconds after you open the site.

          I saw that movie twice in theaters and I did not once see that scene.

                  its just the movie preview it does the same thing for me just dont click anything and it still happends i know the scene but i dont want to give it away.

                      Ive seen the movie in theaters. We can all agree that something fell into the ocean during the ferris wheel part at the end right? Some people tell me they didn't see anything. I just told them they must have blinked.

                          Yes, something did fall into the ocean behind the ferris wheel.

                          Of course, it wasn't that big, so most of my friends did not see it.

                          And 3 of them were in the bathroom due to nausea. ;O

                              I think this is a spoiler, in some form at least. Just highlight the text in between the ">>'s".

How did the monster get so big? Well, the main ingredient in slusho is DEEP SEA NECTAR, and it's supposed to support growth. Another tie-in with slusho is that one of their tag lines is "it makes your STOMACH EXPLODE with happy!". Remember in the movie when that character got bitten by one of those crab things and her stomach exploded?
                              One last tie-in is that on the history part of the Slusho site, it keeps talking about "the littlest whale" as a nickame. The smallest whale is the pigmy sperm whale, which expelles RED liquid. If you visit the first Cloverfield site (www.1-18-08.com), one of the pictures looks like a big whale with a lot of red stuff around it, and another one looks like a guy on a boat with a lot of red stuff around it. Not to mention, on another JJ Abrams (did i spell that right?) project "Alias" (did I even spell THAT right?), one character offers another a Slusho in an episode, but instead of being a normal slusho color, it's RED. See how this all ties in??? It all makes sense!                              <<
