Just saw it today. It was pretty good. Much better than the last movie I saw and posted about (Shutter, incase you weren't around). I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like your horror movies predictable. I mean, c'mon, how cliche' can they get these days? It was more of a comedy because of the predictability! Anyone else seen it?

No, this was a terrible movie.
I tried to get my money back, but to no avail.
Honestly, please don't waste your time.
The plot and end results are evident from the first scene. The series of events are utterly retarded and unrealistic. The police force makes no sense and the most emotion the detective ever shows, even when his fellow detective is dead, is a mere sigh. Why would they go back to her house, he knows where they live.
I left this movie angry. -

Snakes on a Plane functioned in 1 way - as fan service. To who?
Anyone with access to a computer, telephone, television. The movie was re-written to meet the demands of the viewing public. More scenes were added, because it wasn't bloody enough, fast enough, there weren't enough boobs or snakes.
And ON TOP of that, it actually worked as an implausible, but fun, action movie. The movie didn't try to sell you anything other than snakes. On a plane. It didn't ask you to believe that there was mystical power at work. There was no overyling allegory. It was what it was, and it was made custom to tailor to the viewing public.
That never happens, and probably won't happen ever again, as the movie didn't do so hot financially.
I enjoyed it because I enjoy big dumb action movies so long as they don't parade as allegories or cautionary tales."A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

Yeah, the movie did suck. But it was funny. Pretty much do what I did. Take some really hot but stupid girls with you and everytime up smart guys know what's going to happene, scare the girls. It makes the movie funny, hence why I didn't mind it!
