    Let's put this into perspective.

There's a reason no one in the video gamer's world takes you young kids seriously.

People who are just now learning to drive? They were born when Final Fantasy 2 hit the shelves for the SNES.

People just now hitting puberty? Super Mario 64 was released when they were born.

I remember playing those games when they were released.

    I feel old.

Being just a few years behind you, I completely understand and agree.

Yeah, I can relate. I still replay these games. Just rebeat FFIII and Chrono Trigger.

Beat Secret of Mana a couple months ago with my wife. That was great.

People that haven't heard of these games make me sad inside.

Didn't someone make a thread just a couple days ago asking where the music in 'monstrous turtles' is from?

I remember beating this game a year or two before FFVII came out.

Which means I was like 5 or 6. Zeromus was a bitch at my age.
I also distinctly remember Contra. Good times. And I think I discovered Chrono Trigger when I was like... 8 or 9 and beat it with a strategy guide. :<.

I may have not been there when all the great nes/snes games came out, but that does not mean I never played them.
Contra is awesome, one of my favorites.
THats why I bought Contra 4 for my DS.
