    Annoying ads

    I dont know if i should put this here or not but.. ive gota say that those ads are REALLY annoying..

    normally i dont mind a bunch of ads on a page, but i hate it when there are certain types of ads that lag up the game. i have to refresh and hope for a better ad..

    anyone else have this problem??

      Guess what... get Firefox with the addon Adblock Plus. You'll never see a website ad again.

          If you report specific ads (using, say, a screen cap), we can look into it and usually remove them if they are causing significant trouble.

          Unfortunately we've got to generate money somehow to maintain a free service to such a large userbase. If you can purchase a subscription, you won't see ads.

              ok well then next time this happens again ill report it. usually its one of those high detail... colorful animated (possibly sound) type ads that REALLY gets on my nerves lol

                  I use firefox and I don't come across these ads, but I do usually end up getting a pop-up from that tribalfusion thing about cursors often =/ Even my good pop-up blocker gets bypassed by it.

                                          All popup blockers do is send the popup behind the window you are using. Sometimes it doesn't work. So either way you would be closing out a pop-up.

                                          Well, at least that's what my popup blocker does...

                                              also, each IP should only be getting 1 pop-up, max, per day.

                                                  In addition, Game pages should be showing stic ads rather than animated ads that cause lag.

                                                      My firefox also disables some unkown DirectX and other pop-up ads, or it might be my Vista


                                                      Wh knows all I know is that it is lagging up my profile pages at the library =_='

                                                          Or you could use pop-up/ad blocker, if you use a nice enough web browser. But in the long run, wouldn't it be better to subscibe, not to mention beta, blue usernames, a special forum, Custom User Titles, and a whole other basket of goodies for you to enjoy! But you choose what's best for you.
